Legal
Terms of service
The agreement between your church and Roost, written to be readable.
This is placeholder copy for the marketing site build. Replace it with policy reviewed by your legal counsel before launch.
By using Roost, your church agrees to these terms. We have tried to keep them clear and fair, because trust runs both ways.
Your account
- One church account is one organization, responsible for the staff and members it invites
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for the activity under your account
- You agree to use Roost lawfully and to respect the privacy of the people in your records
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, based on the plan you choose
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time, and you keep access through the period you have paid for
- Payment-processor fees on giving are separate and set by the processor, not by Roost
Your data
- Your data is yours. You can export it whenever you like, and you can leave with it
- We act as a processor of the church data you store, under our privacy policy
- We keep regular backups, and you control your own exports as well
Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Roost available and dependable, and we will give reasonable notice of significant changes to the service or these terms.
